Overall fit: True to size I love the pink one (my second purchase) - great value and much better than what I could find locally. My kitten loves exploring with us and the extra vent holes make it great for hot Southern weather!

Overall fit: True to size I love this. We are wanting to take our cat when we walk, so he gets outside. We have a stroller for pets, but this backpack gives us options. If we want to ride our bikes, or hike non-paved trails this gives us that flexibility. The big convex cover gives the cat great visibility, there is an internal clip that can attach to a leash or harness so you can totally remove the cover. Seems to be great ventilation with 3 large vent holes on either side. and a mesh zippered panel that allows air to flow through. There is a cell phone sized pocket with a water resistant cover on the side and a wide pocket just under the cover that is perfect to carry a lead. The straps are padded and comfortable, and there is a convenient connector that bridges the 2 shoulder straps that ads stability. There are more expensive pet backpacks, but no need to pay more. It took our cat about 10 minutes to get used to the motion caused by being carried on my back, but after about 5 mins, he relaxed. Now, as soon as we get the pack out, he jumps right in ready to go. The one minor con ( and its really minor) is that the hard clear cover comes with a protective sheet of plastic over it to prevent it from scratching during shipping. That plastic was sewn into the zipper seam and left litte strips of plastic around the outside of the cover.
