Yesterday I installed the door and it works good… I set the timer. Did not try the solar setting. I'm not crazy about the design that you have to cut the hole to fit the engine part inside, but I understand they trying to keep it out of the weather. The manual what comes in the box with it it's not the same as the one online/pdf. You cannot change the setting from timer to solar opening with this unit as is suggesting online pdf, neither turn on and off that annoying “animal repellent” sound from the setting on the unit itself. The customer service people keep reading the manual for you if you ask how to turn the repellent off without a knowledge that neither manual’s instructions apply. The remote is a sole tool to switch solar to timer opening(the Sun sign on or off) and repellent on and off(the Dog sign on or off) but the manual for remote will not describe that either. I am giving 5 stars for performance so far, because it deserves it. , quality/price good.,, , will come in handy, quality/price good.,, quality/price good.,, quality/price good.,

For as flimsy as it is made I am impressed with its quality. And it works fantastic and my chickens are happy and feel safe at night. I had a raccoon problem a couple months ago and this solved that problem.

Arrived quickly. Out of the box it appears it’s exactly what I was hoping for. Not shown is the solar panel as I put it outside to charge up. I will update once it’s installed. Same unit as advertised on Amazon for a fraction of the price.

It's as described, but putting that mesh on is a bit tedious and it's not very sturdy, so to speak. But I think it's perfect for chickens 🐥 I plan to put chicken coop mesh on it because my goal is to prevent my goat from eating my chickens' food 🐓 Overall, it's what they offer!!!! Review before translation: Es como se indica pero poner esa malla es un poco tedioso y no es fuerte por decirlo así , pero creo que es perfecta para pollitos 🐥 yo pienso ponerle malla de gallinero porque mi objetivo es evitar que mi cabra se coma la comida de mis gallinas 🐓 en general es lo que ofrecen !!!!
